Does anyone know if it’s possible to update LMS to 7. To completely uninstall Logitech Media Server and remove its vestiges, you just need to do 3 simple steps: launch > select > uninstall. In the right window, click the Installed tab, find Logitech Media Server, and then click Uninstall. 'Clean cache folder, including music database, artwork cache etc.' Then, click Run Cleanup. I read somewhere that it is normally not necessary to mess with buffer or alsa parameters. It looks like the version of Logitech Media Server (LMS) that installs from the dashboard is several versions old (7.7.2). Under the Cleanup section, select the check boxes for: 'Delete preference files'. The interrupts do not appear if I use the hw:0 (sun4icodec), but the volume level and noise is much better with the spdif. The default option was the worst in terms of interrupts, I think.Īny hints? Cannot see anything suspicious in the logs. It supports locally stored music as well as internet radio streams and is extendable via plugins to e.g.

This works in principle, but using the spdif optical output, I get an interrupt every minute or so of about half a second.
I use the Logitech Media Server and squeezelite, mainly to play radio on the armbian box itself as well as on a Squeezebox Radio I still have. I have just changed from a custom legacy kernel to armbian and like the experience.
